Time and operating cost
Audit evidence time and ROI calculator
Four numbers — frameworks, evidence items, people to chase, audits a year — to see how many hours go into manual follow-up. It is a planning estimate, not a quote.
An indicative aid for compliance work. It is not legal advice, a filing with an authority, or a certification.
The formula, in the open
Estimated yearly hours = (frameworks × 40) + (evidence items to refresh × 1.5) + (owners or suppliers to chase × 6) + (audits or reviews × 24). Forty-five percent of that total is treated as recoverable when the owner, the due date and the file live in the same place.
The coefficients describe work teams report: aligning the same control across frameworks, renaming attachments, writing another email, rebuilding the pack in audit week. They are not an industry benchmark.
What the calculation leaves out
It leaves out the cost of the security measure, legal advice and the external auditor’s time. It only counts coordination of proof. If that coordination is already light, the recovery stays light: the tool does not inflate the result.
Where the time comes back
The recovery is three moves: a request with a due date instead of a chase, one control linked to several frameworks, an export that is not rebuilt by hand. Platform prices are on the pricing page. This estimate only helps you decide whether the topic deserves a conversation.
FAQ
Is the result a guaranteed saving?
No. It is a local estimate, calculated in the browser with the coefficients above. It is not an offer and it does not promise a contractual ROI.
Why do audits weigh 24 hours each?
For the final collection: index, versions, exceptions and responses to findings. If the pack is already ordered, lower the number of audits or evidence items.
Can I use the estimate in a business case?
Yes, if you cite the coefficients and treat it as a hypothesis. Do not present it as a measurement of your processes.
Where do I see the cost of AuditReady?
On the pricing page. The tool does not calculate fees and it does not ask for an email.
